Las Cuevas
Las Cuevas is a hybrid animation exploring the atmosphere and poetics of caves.
Inspired by the mountains south of Valencia, Las Cuevas highlights their mysterious qualities and their potential as sites of ritual experience and ancient presence, where a mysterious figure of light draws us through darkness.
The multi-coloured beings and sculptural landscapes of Las Cuevas are handcrafted from various waxes mixed with earth, gel, minerals, and clay. The beings are animated through stop-motion, while selected sequences are extended with artificial intelligence, preserving the earthy rawness and tactile qualities of the material.
Rather than following a conventional narrative, Las Cuevas unfolds as a stream of scenes, each one like a moving painting of shifting textures and light. Along with the mesmerizing soundscapes and music by French artist and longtime collaborator Paul Behnam, Las Cuevas invites us into a state of attentive & sensitive listening, where image and sound meet in a mysterious immersion..
floatl
Floatl is a hybrid stop-motion animation made in Mexico City and Berlin. It combines analog materials with multilayered compositing of video and drawings. It is an audio-visual experience where we witness a realm of wonder, contemplation, moving textures and dissolving colors.
In this imaginary aquatic world two characters meet and it ignites a poetic dialog between the two elements. Fire and water.

‘Solar Punk’ is a multi-media project taking us to the realm of future visions. It is an opportunity to imagine organic futuristic environments which are to be experienced in space.
The ‘Solar Punk’ animation is made by combining different techniques: from ceramic and metal sculptures, 3-D Animation, greenscreen footage of actors, to nature and video recordings. In the story We are being streamed into a future scenario to experience a society and its life on earth. There is a positive poetry of togetherness around there. A harmonic interaction between human, nature and tech environments.
Some fragments and forms of this hybrid future appear modular, diverse and inter-changing. Colors and sounds interact constantly, moving in diverse loops.
Finally, everything emerges in a communal resonance. An epihany of vibrance in the sky.

The journey is an endless ascension until a point when the machine finally returns to the depths of sea : a well needed rest. One our civilisation will need to aquire as well in order to humbly realize the state of the world we live in.
Tales of Topinambur is a hybrid animation. It is a amalgamation of green screen footage of a performer, drawing animation and collages, puppet stop-motion and realtime videos of nature. It tells a story of a puppet, Iv Ra, which is being possesed by a mystic dancer. The spell takes her into an unknown place: Topinambur.
